*I received this book for free in exchange for my unbiased review through the BookSneeze Program.

Did you know you can review books for Book Sneeze and have them downloaded to your Kindle? I am in love with my Kindle! The only problem is Ive downloaded so many books and have so little time. I’ve been reading a little bit each night while Hanna is laying down for her nap or for bed time.

The latest book I read was Life Everlasting by Robert Whitlow. It was a great book, although it take me a moment to get into the story line and the end was kind of just thrown in there like he didn’t know how to get there. The book is about a young woman, Alexia, who is a divorce attorney, shes just starting out at her own firm after leaving a big name firm to start out on her own. She is representing a woman who’s husband is on life support, with a situation that went down at a waterfall. Rena keeps changing her story up making it difficult to represent her. In the mean time a local music minister, who is also Alex’s love interest is doing “music therapy” with Rena’s husband, Baxter, who is in the coma. Ted, is determined to see a change in Baxter’s condition by playing music to God giving Him thanks for Baxter’s Healing. To everyone’s surprise…Baxter begins to wake up sending the characters on a crazy adventure of trials. There is an ultimate struggle between good and evil. You’ll have to read it to find out what happens!
I did get into the story though and the development of the characters and their journey. The main character Alex, is a young lady who is on her journey to know Christ and part of her journey is not just knowing God or about him but experiencing him. I definitely appreciated the way that the author placed her in life situations and showed real human emotions. There is a section where shes jealous of a friendship between the nurse, Sarah and Ted who are doing the music therapy. The characters are well developed. He does a great job or showing the hand of God at work in their lives. This book is the second in a series of novels. I’m excited to go back and read the first one.
